Some immediate changes to date have been dependents being able to remain on parents policy until they turn 29. We will not see any guaranteed issue plans for individual or family policies until a few years. At that point in time Americans will be able to purchase individual plans without scrutiny of pre-existing conditions and will be able to shop via an online shopping bizarre to choose which plan fits their needs at low premiums or premiums subsidized by the government depending on income status.
